Recruit them from the Tombs - EP

Commentary:

Following the completion of the monumental 'War on Peace and Happiness' album, it was projected that a second full length album titled 'Disc of the Damned' was to be recorded, with a second collection of B-side tracks alongside it.  What in fact happened was that I pulled the plug on the full length album after partially completing three songs from it.  These songs were 'Recruit them from the Tombs', 'The Gates of Hate', and 'Sorrow on the Morrow'.  Hatching his Dastardly Scheme was initially called Spheroscope and designed as part of a very separate recording project.  We recorded it to test out some new gear we brought into the studio.  'Tis the Dead ye shall dread' was recorded in a similar way to many of our earlier 'War on Peace and Happiness' tracks, very much arranged and designed in the studio instead of at my home. 

The result is a very incomplete and inconsistent tracklist.  There are a number of highlights in there, if you listen to it all.  The theme, if anything, is Zoldon raising an army (primarily of the dead) with which he will wage war upon Peace and Happiness.
